Bookless lesson, The Girl Who Sang In The Life Boat ,Motivational

An amazingly inspirational talk by a teenager who stood up to spread the message of hope and courage. The reaction of my students was overwhelming. After listening to this video they were asked to pick out the phrases they heard, analyse the message and prepare to interview the speaker. An imaginary role-play of the interview, an article and a TV report was also prepared by  them.
This clip not only gave them a sense of appreciation for their blessings and health which they take for granted but also left them thinking that substantial life that carves a niche is better than a long life without purpose.
